1. How to connect MOTO X1 with my mobile phone?
When MOTO X1 is power on, press Back ward Track and Forward Track button together for 5 seconds,LED status 
indicator turns red and blue(pairing mode), then initiate Bluetooth function on your mobile phone, search and connect 
with id221 MOTO X1 .

2. Can MOTO X1 pair with UCLEAR HBC100 or HBC200 for using?
MOTO X1 can pair with UCLEAR and other brand Bluetooth headset. There are 2 methods, one is,MOTO X1 is a 
Bluetooth devise to pair with HBC100 or HBC200 for intercom, another is, MOTO X1 is a Bluetooth adapter to 
wired connect with other device( Walkie Talkie/ GPS/ Radar...) and paired with HBC100 or HBC200.


3. How can I improve the voice quality of MOTO X1 to the best?
Generally speaking, voice quality is depend on the paired device(mobile phone/ GPS). But you can try to adjust the 
voice volume to be 50%, 75% or 100%, and find the suitable and soft voice to you. 


4. How to install MOTO X1 to my helmet?
There are 2 helmet attachments to install MOTO X1. One is Metal Mounting Bracket. Peel off the double sided tape 
protective film, identify a position on the side part of helmet to adhere the metal mounting bracket. Another is Clip 
Bracket, directly fasten the clip bracket onto the side part of helmet. Please install MOTO X1 according to the User 
Manual or please consult to your vendor.


5. Is MOTO X1 waterproof?
Yes, MOTO X1 is completely waterproof, includes the main unit and remote control. It also can be used under 
-20℃ to 60℃. 
 

6. How can I do if voice is just come out from one side speaker?
Please ensure the plug of speaker wire is inserted into socket completely and the install position is closed to your 
ears. If the problem still exists, please contact with id221 company or your vendor. 


7.  MOTO X1 is paired with mobile phone Bluetooth successfully, why there is no voice when make phone calls or 
listen music?
Please ensure MOTO X1 have paired with mobile phone Bluetooth on both mobile phone audio and media audio. 
Unplug the speaker wire and re-insert it into MOTO X1 socket. If the problem still exists, please contact with id221 
company or your vendor.


8. When MOTO X1 connect with mobile phone or Walkie Talkie, I can hear the voice from people on other side, 
but why he cannot hear me?
Please ensure the plug of speaker wire is inserted into socket completely. Two microphones and user’s mouth must 
be on the same horizontal level. If the problem still exists, please contact with id221 company or your vendor. 

 
9. How many devices can MOTO X1 pair with at the same time?
MOTO X1 now can pair with 2 mobile phones at the same time, ON one mobile phone and another Bluetooth device, 
such as another id221 MOTO X1/ GPS.


10. What is the priority sequence of device function if MOTO X1 paired with multiple Bluetooth devices?
First is Phone Calls, second is Intercom or Walkie Talkie function, Third is Music.


11. If one of the 2 microphones doesn’t work, would communication be not clear?
If just one microphone can work, communication must be weak or even cannot achieve. id221 microphones are base on 
top military DSP noise cancellation technology, increase the effect by duel microphones noise cancellation processing 
function. If just one microphone can work, the noise cancellation function is weak. Please be care to put the two 
microphones on the same lever to each side of your mouth, it can make the microphones collect noise at best effect. If 
just one microphone can work, please contact with id221 company or your vendor.
